Basically, this was something I could read, that wasn't long, that I don't need to write a review on. Mind you, these books are like mini novellas. In particular, I liked this one more than I thought I would. It is fast-paced but genuinely a good story.

Devon has a plan that includes moving to Paris not falling in love. Never did she intend to meet Bosun but as fate would have it did in the form of a fender bender. Thankfully Bosun has what it takes to get Devon's baby Cherry back on the road. Her best friend Katie warns her that Bosun is a player which seems perfect for Devon who doesn't want to be stuck in town. While the pair spends more time together it becomes apparent that they may be getting more attached than Devon planned. However, Bosun has a secret that could change anything. I like Devon we've had a little chance to know her in the past book and now it's her chance to have a happy ever after. I like Bosun he's a good guy even he just turns a little furry and howls at the moon. They complement each other week and it just works. I like the chemistry between them it's sizzling which is how I think it should be. I've had this one on my kindle for a while but after reading the prior book I knew I had to give it a chance. I'm so glad that I did because it doesn't disappoint. I'm a sucker for a whirlwind shifter romance with a well-balanced story and steamy moments. I love that the characters are easy to connect with you can't help loving Devon as she's a sweetheart. Bosun is a good guy who may just have needed the right girl to settle him down. I enjoyed the author's storytelling she's created this captivating world with perfect sweet happy ever afters. I can't wait to read more of Winter Valley Wolves stories. Perfect for a quick read.

I was given an ARC of Bosun from the author, in exchange for an honest review.I absolutely loved reading about Bosun & the Winter Valley Wolves, especially having Katie pop into the story every know & then. I was quickly sucked into the story, then spat out at the end... why do couldn't this be longer???Devon always had a dream, save enough money to move to France & marry a hot Frenchman... Then within a few days her lifes dream is turned upside down when she's back ended by non- other than Bosun Lindholm. Bosun has never settled for one woman, waiting for his true mate & not dating until she was found.... but once she's found, he wont be letting go.The friendship between Katie & Devon is wicked to read, although Katie obviously feels bad for not being able to tell Devon the truth behind her going to college. The heat between Bosun & Devon is panty melting... I enjoyed reading their interractions very much. Bosun is book 2 in V. Vaughn's "Winter Valley Wolves" series, which in turn is a part of the "Mating Season" pack series. A set of books from 6 authors, 6 different packs & an individuals story on finding their mate. I can't wait to read the last novella from V. Vaughn's "Winter Valley Wolves" & to delve into the other authors work in the "Mating Season" series.

I liked the story and I enjoyed reading about how these two get together. I'm not sure I get the fact turnaround by Devon. That aside, I enjoyed the book and will read more by the author and especially in the series.

Devon owns a hair salon with dreams of going to Paris. All that changes when she gets into a car accident with a gorgeous mechanic. Things heat up between her and Bosun pretty fast. She has a long list of ex-boyfriends with broken hearts and she’s finally met her no-strings match in Bosun. He’s the eldest werewolf of his brothers and though he loves women, he’s waiting to find his special true-mate before he settles down. He finds her unexpectedly in Devon, but she’s a human with a werewolf best friend. She just doesn’t know her friend’s a wolf.I liked Bosun much more than I did his brother, Brindle, from book 1. Bosun is older and seems more mature than his younger brother. He handles his relationship with Devon responsibly and acts like a gentleman at all times, even though he can get pretty wild. I absolutely loved the banter between him and Devon, and the way he threw her off-guard. Very sweet. This story takes place in about a week or so. Unlike the first book, the time line doesn’t jump around but it flows smoothly from scene to scene. It made for a much easier and pleasant read.I’m not a big fan of 1st POV narrative but I like the author’s writing. It’s told strictly from Devon’s POV but I still felt as though I understood Bosun very well. This is definitely a good story and I look forward to the next book in the Lindholm brothers boxed set (Winter Valley Wolves Vol 1).5 StarsDisclaimer – I downloaded this book for free on Instafreebie and volunteered to review it. Bosun V. VaughnReviewed by SFF DragonWhen a tricked-out pick-up hits a bright red VW named Cherry a HEA is born. No, not Herbie Rides Again but still a love story.I enjoyed reading this story of true mates Devon Reilly and Bosun Lindholm as they meet under less than auspicious circumstances, when Bosun crashes his tricked-out pick-up truck into the back of Devon's precious Cherry, her bright red VW Beetle (Bug), and concertinas it. Not so good in a rear engined car. Bosun owning an auto-repair shop is a bonus for both of them. Anger turns to lust, then love and just when there's a HEA on the horizon, Devon decides to leave. Fortunately, she comes to her senses in time and they get their HEA.This paranormal romance isn't plain sailing and there are so many emotions involved, from anger and lust to love, laughter and heartbreak, that I was left wondering what the hell Devon was thinking. Written in the first person and entirely from Devon's point of view, Bosun is open with Devon about his feelings for her, so we're not totally in the dark. But the first person narrative style is a niggle for me. I prefer stories told in the third person, so I know what all the main characters are thinking and feeling. But a good short read with HEA that I enjoyed nontheless. This series is getting better and I'm really looking forward to the next one.'Bosun' is the second book in the Winter Valley Wolves series by V. Vaughn and the eighth book published in the multi-author Mating Season Collection of paranormal romances. All the books can be read as stand alones, they are complete stories with HEA and no cliff-hangers. I was given this copy by the author in exchange for an honest review and it took me a total of a little over two hours to read.

BOSUN {Winter Valley Wolves Book 2} A CAPTIVATING ROMANTIC STORY;The story focuses on; BOSUN, a sultry, blue-eyed traffic-stopping gorgeous wolf-shifter who owns the auto repair shop; DEVON, sassy, charming beauty, and hair salon owner. What you’ll find in this story; a cast of remarkably impressive and engaging characters, spectacular story-line, powerful scene descriptions, phenomenal banter, heart-rending moments, spiraling emotions, sky-rocketing heart-pounding sensual romance, and a heart-warming conclusion that leaves you content and wanting more.Devon has yet to find a man she can love, and hopes moving to Paris will help. Bosun, who is known to break the hearts of many women has yet to find his true mate. A fender-bender has Devon and Bosun colliding into each other’s arms. As their romance flourishes, Bosun takes a leap of faith and tells Devon his secret. Though she does not fear him, and will keep his secret tucked away, she decides moving to Paris is best for both of them. Bosun has to come up with a fail safe plan to win the heart of his true mate forever.... WOW/SPECTACULAR fast paced well written creative read by a truly gifted author. The author does not disappoint in giving readers an intriguing plot and amazing characters that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I so enjoyed the witty conversations between Devon and Bosun. The chemistry between Bosun and Devon is more that convincing and their romance is filled with fiery passion. I absolutely adored this story, a most entertaining read. If you treasure shifter romance this is a terrific book for your library. {I was gifted this book and this is my completely honest review}. Customer Review5.0 out of 5 stars The grass isn't always greener somewhere else!September 7, 2015, By SandyNThis review is from: Bosun: Winter Valley Wolves #2 (Kindle Edition)Book 2 on the Winter Valley Wolves Series in the Mating Season Collection. Devon Reilly has always dreamed of finding love in Paris. Little does she know the love of her life is in her own hometown. When she meets the brother-in-law of her best friend, Devon can't figure out why she is so drawn to him. Of course he's hot and easy on the eyes, but he has a rep as a player and she's not first. She can't control her emotions around him and she's been warned away from him. But why? She's about to find out why and just what is so different about Bosun and Winter Valley. This is a story of finding love where you least expect it and secrets that have been closely guarded. A werewolf drawn to his true mate makes for an exciting surprise for Devon, and the romance that convinces him that she's 'the one' is sweet and sexy without being over the top. I loved the continuation of characters from the prior book and the background about each one explains their place in the community. I really liked Bosun and Devon's story and have the next in series ready to read! Paranormal readers will enjoy!

I downloaded Bosun: Werewolf Romance as a free novella from Amazon. The short story was a feel-good, insta-love offering by Vaughn with engaging characters. The story wasn't complex, but it was a mellow read, even if somewhat pat in the ending.

I listen to the audio of this book. Violet Vaughn has a special talent when it comes to writing. I loved the first book in this series but I have to say she toped it with this book. Bosun and Devon are such an awesome couple. I so enjoyed hearing Ramona Masters narrating his book. She did an amazing job. You get so pulled into the story when listen to Ramona tell it. We first met Devon in book one. Oh don’t worry if you have no read book one I think this book will be just find as a standalone. Devon is hairstylist. She has this bubbly personality that you will love. I loved how Bosun loved teasing her in this book. Bosun is this smoking hot werewolf. He has waited so long to find his true mate and now that he has found her he must tell her the truth of what he is. Can Devon handle the truth? Will she walk away once she finds out? Will she take off and run and never look back? This was such an amazing story and you will not help but fall in love with Devon and Bosun. I have to say that Ramona Masters had a perfect voice for Devon and did not do bad with Bosun’s voice as well. This is a book well worth listening to.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance. Devon and Bosun meet during a car accident and the collision sparks something special for them. Neither of them did serious romances but this time everything was different. Devon had plans to move to Paris and not to stay in her hometown and get married and pregnant. Bosun was having fun and enjoying life running a repair shop. Devon's best friend, Katie, is Bosun's sister-in-law. She wants them to be happy together but knows that Devon needs to know the whole truth about their family before she can make a decision. In the first book, we saw Katie struggle with her relationship with Bosun's younger brother, Brindle, so she truly understands the issue. Can Devon change all her plans and accept that the man she loves is a wolf shifter? I recommend this short sweet story. You don't have to read the first one to jump right in but it is a good story too. The characters are easy to love and you can understand the connection they feel. The middle brother's story is next in the series and I look forward to reading that one too. I received a copy from the author in return for a honest review.

Book 2 in the Winter Valley wolves is another good one. I read and listened to the audio. Devon, friend of the last lady love interest, meets Bosum and they hit it off. He runs into the back of her precious car.Devon is a smart mouth who likes guys, a lot. She just can't fall in love. Well, she couldn't before Bosun. Their friendship escalates quickly. But, he has a secret. Maybe the secret is why Katie tried to warn her about her brother in law. He is nervous when he finally admits the family secret. He's a wolf shifter. She learns enough to know that if they are to be together she will have to turn and she just can't accept that. How will Devon deal? Will she just give him up? Can he change her mind? Since Katie has been changed, can she help Devon understand and accept?A short read, but a good one. Just when you think you will never be able to fall in love, your true mate runs into you.I recommend either the book or the audio, or like me both. I was provided and ARC for an honest review.

Bosun: Winter Valley Wolves Book #2 (The Mating Season, #8)by V. VaughnDevon loves her "Cherry". That's the name of her car. A cute little VW. She has an accident, not completely her fault, but she has to take part of the blame. The other person involved is Bosun Lindholm, handsome, her best friends brother-in-law, and bad boy.Devon isn't one to get into lasting relationships as her plan is to move to Paris and fall in love with a Frenchmen. But, Bosun soon has her rethinking those plans, until he tells her his secret.Bosun is a "love em and leave em" kind of guy. He isn't ready to settle for a mate yet, he is still waiting to find his "true mate". One little fender bender, okay, not so little, and he has found her. After dating for a bit, he decides to tell her his secret and hope that she doesn't run for the hills.*ARC given for an honest review*

devon had it all figured out. get work done, pack things up and then move to paris to find herself a loving frenchman!that plan quickly resolves when first she gets rear ended by Bosun. he's willing to fix up her car. it's clear pretty quickly that he'd love to do more then just do the car. he's brindle's older brother so if you read the first book you know there is more to them then meets the eye, though what the eye sees is a neatly and hulky formed man! always having been the ladies man, his reputation precedes him but that doesn't stop devon doing things her way. when bosun comes clean about who and what he is, devon has a lot more to think about.what will devon do once she learns the truth? another sweet and quick read and another lindholm brother of the market! loved it xxxfree copy given in exchange for an honest review.

Devon (Katie from Book 1 best friend) has a bit of a fender bender and meets the jaw dropping Bosun. When she gets picked up by Katie after the accident she realises that Bosun is Katie's brother in law. He offers to get her car repaired to save her claiming her insurance and they have some initial chemistry. Neither of them do relationships , Devon has plans to move to Paris and Bosun is a bit of a playboy.Katie is wary of Devon falling for Bosun, cos there is a big hairy secret that he needs to come clean with (He;s a werewolf!!) Devon seems to cope well with this revelation but will this last? Will her relationship collywobbles set in and make her run????These characters are sexy, sassy and very easy to love!! I can't wait for more in the series!!

There is something about the way V Vaughn writes that pulls you into the story and it always makes you feel warm and happy even through the sadder moments.I was so glad this book was about Devon, it showed her frienship with katie even more, how close they are even though there s a secret between them. I liked that you could see the difference is Bosun and saw how he reacted to his true mate. There was one scene i loved. When they are sitting outside listen to the male wolf howl and then his mate howls back. It was so heartwarming.I just loved this whole book, V Vaughn is awesome!!!

Love = HomeDevon has a plan, or at least she thought she did; save a few bucks, move to Paris France, fall in love and live happily after. But she was already beginning to question if that was what she really wanted when Bosun literally collided with her. They flirt, date, and Bosun falls for Devon faster and harder than his truck rear ended her car. Devon falls just as hard but when Bosun explains they are true mates and what is required by him and that she must turn to be with him, Devon does not think she can do the werewolf thing so instead she lets him go…or tries to. Great story and perfect addition to the Mating Season Collection. Highly recommend it! **Book received in exchange for an honest review**

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Violet Vaughn. This is part of the Winter Valley Wolves by the author.Devon Reilly is busy working and saving money to go to Paris where she hope to meet the man of her dreams but along the way she gets sidetracked by Bosun Lindholm. Having your own business Bosun goes through women like crazy until he finds the 1 woman he can see in his future, Devon. Can he convince her that he can change and be a one woman man or will she only see the women of his past.I like this series and the author creates some great characters for her books. The story line flow was amazing from start to finish. This book is for any paranormal romance book lovers.

Oh, boy... this short story began deliciously fun. Not only did the synopsis do a great job of luring me in but the first chapter alone had me laughing and feeling all tingly with the playing hard to get vibe that was both intense and yummy to read.(view spoiler)[Heading halfway into the story things become more serious... and at exactly 50% things are blown out of proportion. Maybe other readers can deal and move on when they encounter insta-love but I can't. For me, nothing ruins a story more than insta-love and this, here, just takes the spot of the cherry on top. (hide spoiler)]Despite it being a short read short - I can't go any further.

This is book two and features Bosun, who is the brother of the hero in book one, and Devon, the BF of the heroine in book one. Devon has always wanted to leave her small town and move to Paris to find love, but fate steps in when she decides to race a hot guy in a beat up truck and gets in an accident. Bosun just so happens to be the hot guy she races and he tells her he can have her car fixed. Bosun knows that she is her true mate but he takes it slow so that she can decide if he is what she truly wants. This is a short, sweet romance with a few hot sexy scenes with no real conflict. This is a standalone with a HEA and no cliffhanger.I received a copy of this book for a honest review....

This entry in the series is MUCH better than the first one. It had less sex but was much sexier. I was also really invested in the characters. Devon was so sassy and vivacious that I would love to have her for a friend. Bosun was the perfect devilish, sexy scoundrel who had broken hearts but knew his "one" we he found her. There wasn't much conflict or any real obstacles in the story, just token objections, but that didn't hurt the story one bit. Now I'm excited to read the next brother's story, included in the series bundle that I got.

This story was actually loads better than the first one!Devon is a sassy, witty, and fun character. She always has a comeback, until she meets Bosun who has her tongue tied.Bosun has decided to leave his playboy ways behind him with all the broken hearts to wait for his one true mate. My only critique about this book, is I wish the author would've went into more details about why Devon wouldn't even consider the option of changing at first. She just seemed so dead set against it and was ready to run from the first man she's ever found herself in love with.
